StrongerLife Show 9: Taking Care of Your Hands

In this episode, we're going to talk about Taking Care of Your Hands! This is a VERY important topic as winter is in full swing and our skin can dry out.We don't want a big callus or blister to keep us from getting Strong so how can we prevent them altogether?

  1. TRIM or SHAVE your calluses at the END of your shower. This will keep any calluses from building up too much which can make you susceptible to tearing. We recommend the Sand Bar.

  2. MOISTURIZE. Keeping your skin moisturized through the winter months can prevent blisters.

  • WEAR gloves if you need to. Many of our members will wear workout gloves during class. We recommend trying to go no gloves and see how your hands tolerate it over time. If it's not working out for you, gloves can be a great option!

If you follow these steps, you'll have skin that can handle whatever life throws at you. If you have any particular questions, feel free to reach out! We'd love to help
